Access conditions

Opening times

The Villa is open 365 days a year from 10 am to 6 pm, except: 
July and August: from 10 am to 7 pm
From November 4th, 2024 to end of January 2025: from 10 am to 6 pm on weekends and from 10 pm to 4:30 pm on weekdays 
Last admission 30 minutes before closing.

We thank you for not taking into account the time indicated on your ticket. We do not have an imposed time slot.

The cultural gift shop is open during the Villa’s opening times. 
The tea room is currently open from 12:00pm to 3:00pm for lunchtime and from 3:00pm to 5:30pm for tea-time.

The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild overlooks the Bay of Villefranche and the Bay of Beaulieu. It is located 10 kilometres from Nice and Monaco.
By road: access by the lower cliff road (RD6098). A free car-park is offered on the site, subject to availability.
GPS coordinates: latitude 43°6945937 - longitude 7°3292327.

Campervans are not allowed in the parking lot.
Animals are forbidden on site except for guide/assistance dogs.
Food is not allowed on site. 
Use of drone is forbidden on site.
Appropriate attire required.  

We do not have lockers for luggages.

If our parking is full, the city of Saint-Jean Cap-Ferrat offer a charged valet parking. Learn more : valet parking.

By bus: line 15, "Passable - Rothschild" stop or ligne 607, "Point Saint Jean" stop and about 15 minutes walk to the Villa. 
By train: Beaulieu-sur-Mer station - www.ter-sncf.com/paca 
By plane: Nice Airport. 

Application of the Anti-terrorist security plan

To ensure the safety of our visitors, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is strictly applying security measures decided by the French authorities.

Bags and luggage 

Visitors are requested not to visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild with large bags or suitcases.

Large bags and suitcases are prohibited. No bags larger than the maximum size (55cm x 35cm x 20cm) will be admitted.

Security checks

All visitors must cooperate with security checks. The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild would like to thank visitors in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any delays caused by security checks at the entrance.

To ensure Vigipirate, every bag is controlled upon entry.

In the event of an emergency, first leave the danger zone, alert the security personnel and follow their instructions.
