The Villa is open every day of the year.

Opening periods

From November 3, 2025 to January 31, 2026
Weekdays: 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Weekends and school holidays: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

From February 2 to November 1, 2026
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
In July and August: until 7:00 PM

Last admission 30 minutes before closing.

Please disregard the time indicated on your ticket. No time slot is required for your visit.

The bookshop-gift shop is open during the same hours as the Villa.

Information for VTC/TAXI drivers — You are accessing the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild site, which belongs to the Académie des Beaux-Arts of the Institut de France. To ensure a pleasant experience for your clients, please strictly follow the instructions of the security staff. These instructions help manage traffic flow, public safety, and access for emergency vehicles. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is located between Villefranche Bay and Beaulieu Bay. It is 10 kilometers from Nice and Monaco.

By car

Access via the lower coastal road (RD6098).

We provide free parking on site, subject to availability. In case of damage, theft, or vandalism to a vehicle parked in the lot, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild cannot be held responsible.

Motorhomes are not allowed in the parking area.
Animals are prohibited, except guide dogs or assistance dogs.

We do not provide luggage storage facilities.

If our parking lot is full, the City of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat offers a valet parking service at a very attractive flat daily rate.

Transport

By bus: line 15 (until 11:45 PM in July and August), stop “Passable – Rothschild” or line 607 stop “Pont Saint Jean”, then about a 15-minute walk to the Villa.

By train: Beaulieu-sur-Mer station — www.ter-sncf.com/sud-provence-alpes-cote-d-azur

By plane: Nice Airport.

Implementation of the Vigipirate security plan

To ensure the safety of our visitors, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild is strictly applying security measures decided by the French authorities.

Bags and luggage 

Visitors are requested not to visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild with large bags or suitcases.

Large bags and suitcases are prohibited. No bag exceeding the maximum dimensions (55 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm) will be allowed.

Security checks

All visitors must cooperate with security checks. The Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild would like to thank visitors in advance for their cooperation and apologises for any delays caused by security checks at the entrance.

To ensure public safety, every bag is controlled upon entry.

In the event of an emergency, first leave the danger zone, alert the security personnel and follow their instructions.
